Write-Out on the Island

TIME: ~10:00am - 3:30pm
LOCATION: Seattle Ferry/Bainbridge Island
COST: $48.00*

Event Details:
Spend the day working on your writing project in a variety of inspirational settings surrounded by nature and other local writers as we make our way to the relaxing, rejuvenating Bainbridge Island!

We'll start the day at the downtown Seattle Ferry terminal for a meet & greet, instructions, and orientation, then board the ferry, where we'll do our first writing session, with gorgeous views of Puget Sound and the surrounding islands and mountains.

On the island, we'll walk to the charming town of Winslow for more writing sessions, lunch, and shopping/sightseeing. Back on the ferry, we'll have a final WIP check-in and/or writing session.

lunch at Emmy's Vege House (100% plant-based)**
booklet of meditative art activities for inspiration and mental focus to boost creativity & productivity during writing sessions
access to a professional editor, available to answer any questions related to writing, editing, or publishing throughout the day.

Event Terms & Agreements:

You are physically able to participate in the level specified for this activity.
You are at least 18 years of age; anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
You will treat all other participants with kindness and respect.
You will follow all rules and regulations of the city, state, and event venue(s).
You will not share event details with anyone else, to respect privacy of participants. (If you know of other writers who may be interested, please direct them to the event page for details.)
In the unlikely event that any personal injury or property loss or damage occurs while participating in this event, you will not hold the event organizer or host responsible.
You will notify the event organizer as soon as possible if you are unable to attend, to assist with coordination and allow those on the wait list to join if space is limited.
Cancellation policy: All sales are final for mini retreats. If you are unable to attend and notify the host up to 48 hours prior to the event, you will receive a credit for the full amount, which can be applied to a future event. If notification is received later than that, the credit will be 50% less. If no notification of cancellation is received, no credit will be issued. If the event is cancelled by the host, you will have the option of receiving a full refund or applying the full amount as credit toward another event.
